About Us

Premax was founded in 2006 by Australian Specialist Sports Physiotherapist, Randall Cooper.

In the pursuit of the perfect tool for his work, Randall decided to see if he could create a range of new massage products which were non-greasy yet long-lasting and glided on the skin and therefore suitable for clinicians such as himself.

Premax started with two products, Premax Original and Premax Sport, and in 2007 Premax added a third cream to its range, Premax Essential. These Premax products quickly became the preferred massage medium of leading health practitioners in Australia, and are currently used by the majority of professional sporting teams, leading clinics, and salons. In 2009 Premax added two further products to its massage range; Premax Arnica and Premax Lotion.

In 2011, Premax added a new line of products; the Sports Performance range. This range was created to help people stay active in sport and exercise and includes the Premax Sweatproof Sunscreen, the Premax Sport and Muscle Cream, and the Premax Anti Friction Cream.

Honouring its commitment to keeping people active, Premax started its Premax goSport Program in 2011, a program which put's money back into one of Australia's most important assets – sport. The Premax goSport program donates 10% of the money spent by customers on the Premax online store to their nominated sporting club. This is an ongoing scheme.
